Straight 6 cylinder 258ci original engine with an automatic transmission.
If you are looking for a great running reliable Jeep which you don't have to put any more money in, this is it.
This Jeep runs like a top.
Hard top w/ built in sun-roof and Soft Top included with all hardware (soft top only has 1 season on it)
Power steering and brakes
Full Tune-up with all new spark plugs and wires was done in August. At that time the alternator, starter, radiator with all hoses and brake lines were replaced. Along with the fuel and air filter.
The shocks were replaced with 4 new Edelbrock shocks
Tires have less then 5k miles on them.
-This Jeep has chrome tube bumpers along with chrome side steps (also have a chrome grill included)
-Headlights were converted into H4 and the rear tail lights are L.E.D - look great
-The interior is nice and clean. New wall to wall carpeting was put in along with newer type reclining seats
-All gages work except the clock.
-Dashboard is all chromed out including the glove box
-Pioneer AM/FM/CD radio with remote control
-Has factory AC, but not working.
-Sunroof
The frame is in perfect condition and has no rust on it. The floorboards are solid.
This is a 1981 Jeep. It does show signs of age. This Jeep is in no way perfect condition, but is really clean and runs well. The paint shines well. Has few bubbles but no holes. The drivers side door
has a dent in it from a collision with a fence. Door still opens, but can use a new door or maybe just an easy fix. Ive seen them sell on CL for $150 for both.
