| For sale 1955 Willys CJ5 Jeep. I bought this jeep in 2007 and have had it covered or garaged since then. It is a 4-cylinder engine and has good tires. The seats are all in good shape and it has three gears and shifts quite crisply since we took apart the transmission last fall. I bought it restored and my father, a retired auto mechanic, and I have spent numerous hours repairing it. I have a repair manual for it and will buy a new battery for it when it sells. The four wheel drive works well although I have never taken it off roading. It does have some nicks in the paint job as it has a fiberglass body but none of them are more than superficial. The reason I am selling it is that I am leaving the country for a year and need a more practical vehicle. I live near Macomb IL and am asking $6,500 or a good offer. |

Straight 6 cylinder 258ci original engine with an automatic transmission.
If you are looking for a great running reliable Jeep which you don't have to put any more money in, this is it.
This Jeep runs like a top.
Hard top w/ built in sun-roof and Soft Top included with all hardware (soft top only has 1 season on it)
Power steering and brakes
Full Tune-up with all new spark plugs and wires was done in August. At that time the alternator, starter, radiator with all hoses and brake lines were replaced. Along with the fuel and air filter.
The shocks were replaced with 4 new Edelbrock shocks
Tires have less then 5k miles on them.
-This Jeep has chrome tube bumpers along with chrome side steps (also have a chrome grill included)
-Headlights were converted into H4 and the rear tail lights are L.E.D - look great
-The interior is nice and clean. New wall to wall carpeting was put in along with newer type reclining seats
-All gages work except the clock.
-Dashboard is all chromed out including the glove box
-Pioneer AM/FM/CD radio with remote control
-Has factory AC, but not working.
-Sunroof
The frame is in perfect condition and has no rust on it. The floorboards are solid.
This is a 1981 Jeep. It does show signs of age. This Jeep is in no way perfect condition, but is really clean and runs well. The paint shines well. Has few bubbles but no holes. The drivers side door
has a dent in it from a collision with a fence. Door still opens, but can use a new door or maybe just an easy fix. Ive seen them sell on CL for $150 for both.

| 1960 Willys Jeep CJ5 complete restoration beautiful car. The Jeep was completely restored about two years ago. The car was sanded down to bare metal, all the rust was cut out and properly repaired with metal welded in. The motor is a hurricane 4 cylinder F-134 which was rebuilt by previous owner and was cleaned up and painted by me, the car has tons of new parts which I have all the reciepts for; has a completely new wiring harness, new tires, new lights, completely new exhaust system, new shocks, new bikini top, new battery, new uphostery and new carpet. The Jeep has an overdrive which makes it much better on the pavement, everything on the car has been restored. The car runs great and fires up right away no matter how long it has been sitting. I have tons of spare parts as well, including a starter, generator, a head, valve cover, carburetor and many others. I am sad to see the car go but I do not have the time to drive it anymore.
